Ta Prohm - Nature vs. Ancient Khmer Stones

Ruins of Ta Prohm which has been left in much the same conditions as it was found, with a tree (Tetrameles nudiflora) growing aggressively out of the stone building. Originally called Rajavihara, a Buddhist temple founded by the Khmer King Jayavarman VII. Perfect display of nature taking back its territory. Due to human intervention the process was slowed down, it took almost 800 years. The temple was the location in the movie Tomb Raider.
